There’s definitely such a thing as serendipity, especially when your talent
will tell you that you’re cut out for something. That’s how Rhian Ramos
found herself into the limelight.
Rhian Denise Ramos Howell was of Welsh-Filipino descent who was born in Makati
City on October 3, 1990. Her father, Gareth, is a Welsh who worked in a manufacturing
company in Thailand. Her mother, on the other hand, is Clara Ramos, a Bicolana.
Rhian always knew the she wanted to perform, even if she was still young. She
loved to entertain her family during special gatherings. It was also her knack
for singing and acting that prompted her to audition for a role in a school
play, while she was still in De La Salle Zobel, where she finished her elementary
When she was 15, Rhian tried her luck in modeling. Her determination didn’t
prove to be in vain, though, because she landed a very important role in a McDonald’s
commercial. So striking was her personality that Annette Gozon, a movie producer,
really tried to reach her and convinced Rhian to try her luck in show business.
